Guide

If you find that a loved one is being held in jail, you most likely will not need to go to the jail. Most of the time, only a licensed bail bond agent can post bail. Also, when someone has just been arrested, they will normally be tied up with processing for several hours. This is the ideal time to call Stewart Bail Bonds to start the process of their bail bond and jail release. The bail bond process is as follows:

  1. Call Stewart Bail Bonds at 409-835-3412. The Bail Agent will ask you some basic questions relating to who, what, where, and why the person is in custody. The Agent will also ask you questions about the personal history of the person being held such as where they work, previous arrests, time in current residence, etc. We will contact you at the phone number you provide us so please be sure to be available when we contact you. We will probably need to contact you several times.
  2. Stewart Bail Bonds will next call the jail where the person is being held and get the exact bail information and begin planning their release.
  3. A bail agent will call you as soon as we have devised an appropriate plan and discuss bail with you. It often takes a few hours at minimum to complete the process so please be patient as we are doing all we can for you.
  4. We will then make release arrangements
